Defence Training Review

Land Securities Trillium has teamed up with QinetiQ to form Metrix, a joint venture which combines the best in technical knowledge, education and training and land property and facilities management experience, to deliver a sustainable partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for its ‘Defence Training Review’ (DTR) programme.

The DTR is a 25 year public private partnership, designed to enhance and modernise the MoD’s existing training facilities for the three armed forces into one integrated contract. Metrix has been appointed preferred bidder status on Package One and construction of the new facilities at St Athan, Wales is likely to get underway in 2009.
