Princesshay, Exeter

A fusion of the old and new is regenerating the heart of Exeter, combining the city’s rich Roman heritage with new high quality design. Nine years in the making, Princesshay opened in September 2007 offering a pedestrianised environment housing a new Debenhams department store, 65 retail units, 123 city centre apartments and restaurant and café quarter focused around a new civic square. A key differentiator for the scheme is the inclusion of an ‘independent and speciality trader’ street which has established some of Exeter’s home grown retailers alongside internationally recognised brands.
